My Experience

After earning a Bachelor of Social Science in Sociology from the University of Ottawa, I moved to Sweden to pursue a Master of Science in Human Ecology at Lund University. This experience exposed me to global perspectives on sustainability, as I joined a class of 25 international students and immersed myself in a European sustainability landscape that was much more mature than Canada’s at the time. My time in Europe also included an internship at the Environmental Justice Atlas, field research in the Swedish Arctic and Tunisia, and an Erasmus+ Scholarship to study International Development Studies at l’Université de Grenoble in France while on exchange.

Upon returning to Canada, I became a Venture for Canada Fellow, launching my career in project management with an early-stage Canadian tech startup. Today, I’m a Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) with a track record of success spanning multiple sectors.

I’ve built and managed high-impact programs at organizations such as the Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce and Foresight Canada. My notable program delivery achievements include:

• Worked with the Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce to build the Business & Climate Advisor Program, a first of its kind program for a Chamber of Commerce in Canada, becoming its first Program Manager.
  

• Launched the BC Mining Innovation Network at Foresight Canada, building strategic partnerships with tier 1 mining companies.
  

• Built the BC Clean Transportation Ecosystem Program at Foresight Canada, where I became the first Program Manager and played a pivotal role in bringing major stakeholders into the ecosystem and securing funding for key industry projects.
